Vintage Brandt Made in France Silver Metallic Gray Feather Casque Calot Cocktail Hat
This vintage Brandt Made in France silver metallic gray feather casque calot cocktail hat dates from the 1950s. It is made of a black velvet fabric covered base covered with iridescent silver metallic gray feathers of varying textures. This fabulous feathered cocktail hat has a casque calot fitted, brimless half hat small cap royal style, lined in black nylon fabric and has a "Brandt New York", "Made in France" label sewn inside. The hat measures 20 1/2 inches inside crown circumference. It is in excellent condition. This is truly an amazing piece of wearable millinery art!
