Wonderful late 1940`s black velvet "New Look" picture hat.
This large picture hat ( 19") across is shaped like an eye.
There is two crystal button on each under side.
The underside of the hat is black velvet as well.
Thin black silk faille ribbon run around the crown.
Milgrim started in the 1920`s and was a well known
and respected designer who counted among
her clients First ladies: Eleanor Roosevelt, Florence Harding
and Grace Coolidge.
