Here some basic 12k gold filled head pins.  They have a flat round head and are very light weight.
Excellent quality craftsmanship and materials!

~ A plating by soldering, welding or other mechanical means of gold alloy of not less than 10 karat fineness over sterling silver, when the plating constitutes at least 1/20th of the weight of the metal in the entire article. Electroplating is not part of the process. Gold filled items are highly durable and long lasting with the layer of 10-14k gold being about 100 times thicker than electroplating.
About Gauge sizes: Wire gauge numbers get higher as the wire gets smaller. Most of the head pins and eye pins I sell are noted by the gauge size. If your stringing pearls or smaller(2-4mm) beads you will be safe with a 26 gauge wire-you may also be able to use a 24 gauge wire but it may not fit every bead or even most of your beads. The standard sizes of wire guages used by most beading enthusiasts are 26 gauge (very lite/very flexible), 24 gauge (lite/flexible) and 22 gauge (heavier/not as flexible).
Please note there are approximately 25mm per 1 inch
