    The edge is smooth.
    The front reads “Battle of Antietam” with a labeled picture of the Historic Dunker Church, “September 17, 1862.”
    The back reads “GOOD FOR 50[cents] IN TRADE AT ANY COOPERATING BUSINESS OR REDEEMABLE AT ANY WASHINGTON OR FREDERICK COUNTY MARYLAND BANK ON OR BEFORE 2:00 PM AUGUST 1, 1962.
    Around the back edge: HAGERSTOWN BI-CENTENNIAL ANTIETAM - SOUTH MOUNTAIN CENTENNIAL SOUVENIR MONEY.
