1920’S PURPLE SILK VELVET HAT W LARGE SILK FLOWER TRIMS
DATING TO THE 1920’S
FASHIONED OF A PURPLE SILK VELVET WITH A STIFFENED BRIM THAT IS TURNED UP ON THE SIDES
FLAT SELF PIPED BAND AROUND THE CROWN WITH LARGE SILK FLORALS OFF TO THE RIGHT SIDE WHICH MATCH THE INNER BRIM THAT IS TRIMMED IN PINK VELVETEEN.
LINED IN BLACK SILK TAFFETA WITH ORNATE LABEL PICTURED
CONDITION
:  THE PINK INNER BRIM HAS SEPARATED THREE INCHES AND A TACK STITCHING IS NEEDED.  THERE ARE SMALL HIGH POINTS OF WEAR TO THE VELVET NAP AND SOME SMALL PETALS TO THE ROSE BENEATH HAVE SHATTER AND THE INDIVIDUAL SHATTERED PETALS COULD EASILY BE REMOVED.
