1853 Judd Variety Proof Dollar Coin. Stunning proof surfaces with amazing details! I'm not very educated on variety coins but I believe it is a Proof J-67 or close to it. There are several varieties of this specific strike. It looks like it make have been cleaned but the coin is still gorgeous! Great addition to any variety collection! It is possible it is a restrike or repro, but I could not find any proof of those ever being struck. Hopefully someone with more experience on variety coins can give this a good home!
